“Nature always wears the colours of the spirit“. Ralph Waldo Emerson
When I arrived in Ireland about 11 years ago I ran straight into 50 days of rain. Non-stop rain. My first impression of Ireland? VERY wet country. Over the years I have lived here I can say this country has many faces. There is not just one season as we all joke. Ireland has some true colours and even though the weather can change several times during a day, there is always something magical about it.
My favourite season however is autumn. Maybe because I’m an October girl. Or maybe because I appreciate the sound of rain drops hitting the window, a good book and a snuggly blanket. Autumn is also the most fashionable season in Ireland with all the fashion shows starting. Fashion, fire, cuddles. Ahh.
ABOUT THE PHOTOSHOOT
Productions with a large number of people involved can be quite time consuming and frustrating. I tried keeping the number of people for this fashion photoshoot to a minimum. All we needed was a creative make up artist who can work well under pressure and a model. I must say Magda Kwinta did her job very well with her ideas and matching make ups to the outfits. Also beautiful Sinead who has been our model did amazing even though it was only her second photoshoot. I invited along a friend of mine, also a photographer, Thorsten to help with the photoshoot.
SINEAD’S FASHION LOOKS
For the first looks we decided to go with a very delicate make up and simple stylings. If you are like any of the clothing pieces you can find them in Michelle Mitton Design Gallery in Clonakilty. (shh, I already owned that scarf and LOVE IT).
I like having more than one look done for a photoshoot so we decided to go with a stronger eye and lip make up. All below outfits can be found in Michelle Mitton Design Gallery.
Thanks for reading and have a lovely weekend!
