I have been very lucky to be able to not only do what I love, but also teach others to improve their skills and share a common passion with them. It is already over a week since my intern arrived for work placement from Italy and we both have great fun sharing the knowledge, because who said that work has to be boring? Daniele is a dream intern to have, he is happy to try new things, is not afraid of a challenge and also somehow manages with my pace, which can be challenging at times :). Since being a photographer is not only about taking photos, we work a lot in the studio in Clonakilty, but we also go on locations once the weather allows. Last week we went to the Long Strand beach with my son Ben, to practice taking photographs in different light conditions. Also it is always nice to just go out to Long Strand and have fish and chips in the Fish Basket :P. The sea was wild, the wind was cold but we still had a great time and managed to capture the beauty of the West!
