Starting your own business is always a huge challenge, no matter what sort of business it is. And if someone told me 5 years ago that one day I will become a business owner I would never believe it. Last Friday evening that dream of mine of turning my passion for photography into my profession came true with the formal launch of my business as a professional photographer at the beautiful Fernhill House Hotel. My launch event wasn’t just about me launching my business, it was also an ideal opportunity to acknowledge and thank those that have helped me to get this far and I know I can count on their continued support.
People like the talented musical duo of Julie O’ Sullivan Nicholson and John Cullinane, known as ‘
Jewel’ who performed that night and made us all feel like in heaven, Tomas Maciejewski, owner of
StreetWear SF and a member of
Cuttin Head Collective, my friends at
Whitefawn Boutique, fellow photographers that have provided business and technical advice, the models and makeup artists I have worked with over the years that have helped me sharpen my skills and shape my style and the many other friends that have provided support and encouragement along the way. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all so very much.
And also a very big thank you to Cllr. Christopher O’Sullivan, chairperson of Clonakilty Chamber of Commerce and a County Councillor and Anthony McDermot, Mayor of Clonakilty, for coming along and showing their support on Friday night.
THANK YOU!
Thank you Thorsten Merz, fellow photographer and a great friend for the beautiful photos! You captured the event nearly as good as I would do 😉
Congratulations on this big step Anna. It takes a huge leap of faith to do something like this but I’m sure that leap of faith will not let you down. Best of luck with the new venture!
I’m glad you like the images I captured of your event; some day you will have to run a workshop so that I can learn to capture something like this just as well as you would. 🙂 But I get to attend for free! 🙂
Thank you Thorsten! I couldn’t come that far without the amazing support I have received over the last couple of years from my family and friends. 🙂
Congratulations Anna. We thoroughly enjoyed performing for you. You must remember us when you are a rich and famous photographer to the big stars. ?
We, artists, are never really rich, are we? 😛 I could never forget you! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your amazing performance that night. I am looking forward to seeing the video now to keep listening to your beautiful music <3
