I was very excited about Clare’s wedding. She has such a great sense of style and amazing personality, I just love her aesthetics. Could not wait to photograph her wedding day. The weather was really beautiful on the day as you can expect in Ireland (wink wink). The Bride, her beautiful mom, and the bridesmaids were getting ready at the Hayfield Manor Hotel, the 5-star exclusive and luxurious hotel in Cork. The morning was really relaxing and mindful, every moment was celebrated. Don’t you love it when you can slow down and enjoy your time together? Annette O’Brien and Eva Crowley completed the gorgeous boho look of Clare. The dress and all the details were just as breathtaking as expected! When everyone was ready we took a short stroll outside the hotel and then moved to the wedding ceremony location, Honan Roman Catholic Chapel at the UCC grounds. After the ceremony, we decided to take a few photos around the UCC to make sure we have all guests captured before the fun begins. Clare and Denis, newly married, and the bridal party jumped into authentic VW Microbus and took the route from Cork to Timloleague via Kinsale’s Old Heads, where we stopped for a short on-location session. Because why wouldn’t you like to use what West Cork has to offer, we don’t have to drive to Kerry for the amazing views. Clare and Denis were so amazing, relaxed, and happy! They enjoyed being in front of the camera, they are just natural! It’s always so cute to see couples show their true self and not being afraid of being who they really are.
When we arrived in Timoleague, with a short stop at the Abbey, the fun began. The wedding celebration took place in one of the most atmospheric places in West Cork, Monk’s Lane, and the food there is just out of this world! It was definitely one wedding to remember, very intimate and beautiful, boho-inspired, which is the brides natural style. Everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves, the atmosphere was fantastic and you could really feel that this is one of these days you will remember forever.
